I will be going away for college soon, what should i get my girlfriend as a going away present?
I will be graduating soon, and I am currently dating a girl who i love. Every time i bring up the fact that I am going to be leaving soon, see gets upset and changes the subject. I want to get her something that she will remember me by as I will be away for a while. What should I do/get her?
Make her something cute! Like a photo album, or draw her a big picture to hang on her wall. Get creative and use glitter and macaroni!
And give her something that will always remind her of YOU… like a sweatshirt, your favorite cologne if you use it, a piece of jewelry you may own, one of your big T-shirts, something of yours.
And get her a stuffed animal or something like that. It will be sweet, thoughtful, caring, and cute.

Get her a picture of you and her. Write her a letter telling her what she means to you. Its something that she can always have and always look back at when she misses you. Spray it with cologne. It will do the trick and maybe throw in a rose.

Material gift: Yes a scrapbook would be very nice if you insert little text boxes of how you felt in that picture or around that time you were dating. Or reveal little secrets along the way. ALSO, you don’t have to buy all the materials and put glitter on it and such, make it digital! Maybe make a powerpoint of a slideshow of you guys and add in everything. A video might be even better, if you know the technology, so she can carry it in her mp3 if it has that capability.
OR oohooh this is good!!! If she doesn’t have an mp3 player with video capability, get her one! And make her a little, "I love you so much and I’ll miss you" 5 minute clip. I would LOVE that from my guy cuz I could see him everyday.
Document the first bit of college just for her so she knows what’s going on. If you would tell her all of that on your own, video tape it. Like a web cam to show her what your room looks like or a cam corder to show her the campus or the friends you’ve made. A few seconds of you studying, eating with friends. It’s stalkerish but it’s unique.
