How can i get rid of Anxiety when i see my ex?
Whenever i c a car the same as his my heart feels tight
if i see him in a distance or in a photo my heart beats fast, stomach goes tight i feel sick, and sometimes i am sick.
Last time i stopped i had to run of and b sick
How can i get past this? we have no contact, he is blocked on my facebook. only bump into each other randomly
its driving me crazy.
That may happen for a while. It probably means that you aren’t fully over him. Even if you think you feel nothing towards him, the fact that you have that anxiety every time you see him is a sign that you really need to move on. However, that’s easier said than done. All I can really say is that it will get better over time.
I would recommend trying to date other people. Eventually, you will meet someone who is better than you ex, and when that happens, this feeling of anxiety will vanish entirely, even when you see him. Don’t worry, this is perfectly normal.
Don’t listen to the "doctor" above. He told you to take sertraline, which is better known by its trade name, "Zoloft". You have no need or reason to take a psychotropic. Just follow the advice above and you’ll be fine.

Has anyone ever told you to get mad at it. Fight it. Feel the fear and do it anyways. You’re tired of feeling this way, SO GET MAD AT IT! Focus on change. Stay focused. Persevere and BREATHE deep breaths ~ inhale deep deep deep hold for 5 seconds and let it all out and continue a few more times until you can feel the difference.
Remember, change has to be done slowly in steps and not all at once, so grab a calendar and write down some dates when you are available to make one specific change.
Here a bunch of stuff I do to pick me up and ready for the next day. Put on a CD with variety of songs or your Ipod and clean up around you, organize a dresser drawer, color, draw, etc.
And why not give this a try and see if it helps to fill the void and help you to rediscover yourself. This can be applied to both sexes, so just modify it to suit your sex.
1. Choose 5 different hairstyles in a Hair Magazine. Go to Salon. Pick hairstyle with Stylist. Add ‘Face Framing’ Hi-lights if suggested.
2. Make appointment with Esthetician for consult. Consult on hair removal, eyebrow shaping, bikini or brazilian wax, etc.or facial, upper back, chest, arms, bikini, thighs and lower legs.
If you have your own nails, think about a manicure. You can do it at home, but you do need to schedule a day and time and stick to it.
If you don’t have your own nails, start saving up to try 3 months with acrylic tips (Approx $55.00 to put on….4-5 weeks later needs a fill approx $35.00 and then again in another 4-5 weeks). Yes, men do tips too if they are nail biters. No gloss polish (matte).
3. Find a Hip & Classy Store. Ask one of the clerks to assist you with one new look Casual, Sporty, Sharp, etc. or a few looks to cover different categories, events, etc. Great to get interchangeable items so you have more than one way to wear it.
4. Find something that you are passionate about or would like to become passionate about. ie. learn to teach step aerobics(husband loves to teach this), learn boxercise, take judo or tae kwon do, animal welfare, spinning classes, water aerobics, swimming, martial arts, self defense, walking with poles, senior visits, etc. It should be something that exerts you and exhilerates you.
5. Get yourself strong, toned, & fit. If you are overweight, then there are more lifestyle changes that you can make to help you with this. (ie 6 mini meals a day)
6. Challenge yourself to do it. (ie. making polymer clay animals ornaments, chokers, knitting hip bags like ryan gosling, making useful items out of wood, get a Bunny and train it indoors see youtube ~ Bailey Bunny. Lots of men, women, girls and boys have Bunnies for companions.
7. Grab a binder/notebook and fill it with magazine clippings, photos, journaling, print outs, etc. sports, strong women/men, etc. Decorate it. Add your poems, essays, blogs, put your touch on it, it’s your book that you can do whatever you want, say whatever, etc.
8. Turn your experience into a blog. Have questions and answers. Have a list of do’s instead of’s. Help those who are in your position but not as strong as you. Show them a different direction to go. Give them ideas to pursue based on personalities, etc.
*Each day you will bath/shower, shampoo hair, wash fash, brush teeth, cover up any imperfections. Experiment with styling your hair different on 5 days.
If you have short hair, it can be a challenge….you DON’T need to like the styles, it’s just to change things up a bit. (ie wet, dry, parted left, parted right, combed back, combed forward, wings, no wings, etc.)
*It’s a journey that you are going to create for yourself, but make a promise to yourself to TRY. It doesn’t mean you can’t have a few days to go BLAH, but make an effort to pick yourself up.
You are the only one in control to make changes and you know you can do small changes in steps and not all at once. Take the steps in weeks rather days or hours and slowly take account with photos.

Wow, you must be truly in luuurrrrve. here are some steps:
1. Take up a sport/hobby. I took up boxing and trampolining, they’re really stress relieving.
2. Next get one of your photos of him and pick out all the bad features about him.
3. Invite over all your mates and discuss it, they know your situation better than me and they may have some ideas.
Hopefully you should get over him in time, good luck!!
