How can I get by bf’s ex to stop texting him?
He’s asked her to stop texting him. He hasn’t responded to her in months. Sometimes she texts to complain about how he wronged her and ruined her life. Other times she tries to suck him in with lite conversation. Either way, it’s pathetic and annoying. We feel like responding to her and asking her to stop again would just encourage her. He doesn’t want to change his number and go through the hassle of notifying all work contacts and I don’t blame him. He shouldn’t have to.

I know he’s not responding because we are on the same phone plan so I get the records. It’s his ex WIFE which makes her feel entitled to something other than her 3 years of alimony. They don’t have kids together. There’s absolutely no reason they need to be in contact.

depending on the phone company, he can get her blocked…………….also, he can get a new number or contact the police………..stalker

The next time she texts him, call her yourself and tell her to leave him alone or you will involve the police. The bluff should make her stop. If not, his cell phone provider should be able to block specific number for little to no price. That way he doesn’t have to get a new phone in order to avoid all of this.

He should reply to her, make casual conversation as if they never dated at all, and mention if she wants to get back together, he’s already moved on. It’s going to be hard for her to hear especially if they were together for a long time and only recenly broke up..but if that’s the case he shouldn’t have a new girlfriend yet anyways. If they were only a 6 month thing and broke up months ago, well then, just have him do what I suggested.

ok i have delt with something similar to this. i told him he should block her number adn he did. but if he tells you he wont do that… sorry hun but he wants to talk to her then. hope this helps

He’s probably responding to her, just not when you’re around. Otherwise, I can’t imagine why she would still be doing it after months.
The bottom line is that YOU can’t make her stop. Your BF needs to grow a set of balls & put a stop to it.
