He may feel the relationship has run it's course and he is not into you anymore. But like the previous poster's have said don't give up. You need to do a lil soul searching in your time away from him. Do you miss him for him or do you miss the idea of the relationship? If you miss him then you have reason to move forward and pursue him. Take sometime out and don't chase him leave him alone and dont initiate any contact if he contacts you in anyway keep it very short and tell him you are busy and will get back to him.
