How do I get my boyfriend to be more romantic without sounding like a jerk?

My boyfriend could use a little help in the romance department, but I don’t know how to drop hints without coming off as a b****. What should I do? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I think you should be honest with him and tell him that you are concerned about the intimacy in your relationship and how you wish he would show his feelings a little more. You don’t have to be straight up with him and tell him hes not romantic enough, let him know gently that you want to keep the flame in your relationship burning =) If he refuses to and your not satisfied, maybe its time to find someone who can treat you the way you want to be treated.     Some people are and some people aren’t. If that’s what you require, then find another boyfriend who is like that. And let him find someone who is not demanding in that respect.

    Ask him to be abit more romantic. You won’t sound rude guys need to hear what they’re doing wrong. Just say "I like you but can you try to be abit more romantic plz, it would be nice". Or something like that. I’m a guy I would know if a girl asks politely then it’ not rude.
